"Sacrifice was originally intended to be an EP titled "Distant". It became an album because the EP just didn't feel rounded enough. It felt like there should be more to it, more to satisfy the listener rather than starting and being left unsatisfied. It's a collection of tracks, new and old that have been made over the last year (with some tracks being over a year old) and have only just been mastered to a point of where I feel they're ready to be released now. I suppose I mainly make music with visuals in mind or a narrative of a film, my own idea or just something else I've heard and want to interpret it in my own way. I don't pick a band or an artist and say "I want to be them!" because I'm not them. For a start they probably know how to read and write music whilst I just mess about in my bedroom with sounds. It is a pleasure, sometimes, to create a track that is like something you're currently listening too but it's never the intention and always better to create something that you just like to listen too yourself. I find it rewarding which is why it's my hobby - no stresses and simple satisfaction. I won't receive any positive feedback on the production of this album, I know I'm no mixer or master-er but it's not about that. I'm not a professional and will never consider myself to be a professional. Music making is a hobby that I enjoy and it's only recently that I've decided to start sharing what I do in my spare time with others and hope that they find some use or enjoyment out of what they hear. I am very proud of this album (and the artwork) and hope you like something about it. Even if you don't, it's free so no worries! Peace!"
