"Cycling Memories was created for a short film/ music video (or though at the time, without the music) that I shot on a family holiday down in Cornwall. I used my iPhone to film it and couldn't really get a very good, smooth shot whilst on a bike along a bumpy path. The footage was shaky and distorted but to all good effect. Some of it turned out great. So when I decided to make a video out of it, I needed music to go with the edit and with the feeling at the time. It had been years since I had ridden a bike and all these old memories of old friends from primary school and high school came back to me. I was just completely flooded with memories. It was a little emotional and so I need a piece of music that fitted that feeling, not the video but the pleasant memories."
