about
"This track was originally called "Beat The Beetle" due to me seeing a Beetle on the day I started it. The title was changed because it was a little bit out of character compared to the rest of the album. When you're not a singer or don't have the equipment to produce good vocals you have to resort to what's available to you. Luckily enough the "Ooh Ooh" sound in Sacrifice came from a sample I found in the music software I was using. I wanted that sound so bad. It reminds me of The Rolling Stones and their track "Sympathy For the Devil" which is a favorite from them and it's such a 70s thing to have backing singers or even the chorus have this sort of "woop woo" chime going on. In Sympathy For The Devil, for me, it's what makes the track and what makes you want to join in and in some way I wanted to recreate a similar sound here in Sacrifice."
